2004-2006
Architect: RLC Architects, Boca Raton
Role of Alejandro Borrero: Project Director
The project was winner of 2005 AIA Palm
Beach Design Awards
The project consists of a residential enclave on a peninsula that projects into Oakland Park’s Middle River. A mixture of unit
types and with variety in the scale and functions of the public space create a village like community that connects to its surroundings. The Architecture is inspired in the mid century buildings of South Florida and takes advantage of how that particular style relates to the climate and local conditions.
